Description:

Cave no. 18 is only Chaitya-griha (prayer hall) in Nashik cave group. It is lavishly ornamented cave with semi-circular horse shoe shaped arch above the entrance door. The upper portion of the facade is decorated with chaitya windows in relief, pillars with octagonal shaft, vedika railing, stupas and other motiffs. On the right side of the entrance door is dwarpala with a lotus flower.
